Charitable works Fund - Today we will be having the CWF Appeal. Three times each year all the Parishes of the Sydney Archdiocese combine together to support the important pastoral works of the Archdiocese. The Charitable Works Fund has committed 100% of the funds raised in 2008/9 to the following 6 agencies: Confraternity of Christian Doctrine - our catechists work in the State schools; Seminaries - assisting our future Priests, CatholicCare - assistance to struggling families, children and people with disabilities; Chaplaincy Services - our work in prisons, hospitals, mental hospitals and universities; Aboriginal ministries - our presence among Aboriginal people; and the Ephpheta Centre - our apostolate to the deaf community. We thank you for your generosity and support, they are greatly appreciated and valued.
St Felix Parish Fete - This year the Parish fete will be held on Saturday 7th November. We are looking for donations for the following stalls;
Craft Stall - Donations of saleable craft items of any kind, preloved craft books etc. Please hand items to Maureen after 6pm mass Saturday evenings, otherwise please call Maureen (between 6pm - 8pm).
Plant Stall - If anyone has any plants which they would like to donate to the plant stall, contact Phyllis or John
Readers & Ministers Roster - The new Roster for Readers and Ministers is available to be collected from the Sacristy.
Thank you - Fr Ted enjoyed his 4 weeks stay here at St Felix and thanks you all for his company. “Please give good reports to Fr Dominic!” We thank Fr Ted and look forward to seeing him here again in the future.
